Collingwood Captured

Sep 1, 2014

No Mountain. 64″x42″. Giclée print on archival grade photo paper.

Skol’s largest print to date is now showing in the thematic Collingwood Captured group exhibition. No Mountain is one of twelve oversized (approximately 6’x4′) images which offer particularly rare, or abstract, depictions of the town.

And while there is a central focus to the show (no pun intended), subject matter ranges from the highly obscure (think historic graffiti from the interior of Collingwood’s shuttered grain elevators), to the welcomingly atypical (such as the behind-the-scenes rooftop landscape of No Mountain).

The exhibition is certain to be a highlight of this year’s Collingwood Art Crawl, with that event’s after party happening next door at Studio 65.
